The Soft Saying Card Kit is a versatile kit. Everything is laid out for you so you can make as intended, but then you can add your own touches, change things up and the stamps are beautiful to use in other ways. I added a few sequins and some Wink of Stella to the card front and then I made an insert for the card using the flower stamp and coloring in with my Stampin Blends. I also used the Wink of Stella to give a little extra bling. I'm glad I have these stamps to add to my craft stash. All are available on our Stampin Up online store.

I hope this finds you all doing well. I had some fun creating this card using the Lovely Wishes Stamp Set. When I look at what stamp sets that I'm going to add to my tool box I really look for the versatility of the set. This one is a winner. I love the different foliage and it also has nice sentiments. The layered leaves I fussy cut and it really is easy to do.

Catching up on my journaling

Well this weekend while I was resting after my first chemotherapy treatment, I caught up on my journaling in my spiritual planner. I found the stamp set Hold on to Hope with the Cross of Hope matching framelits dies was just the perfect touch for my January 2018 calendar.
I'm finding my crafting is such a great therapy. Let your creativity flow no matter what your status in life. It's fun and rewarding. Happy crafting.

Check out the new Waterfront Stamp Set in our new Occasions Catalog. I love versatility of the set which has 16 stamps. I created this scene which reminds me of our Lanikai Beach when we go to watch sunrise. The set also has everything to make beautiful mountain scenes. The best of both worlds.
